The power of a coin toss

Do you have a hard time making decisions? We’ve all been in that difficult situation, unsure which option is the best for us. Where do I want to eat? What do I want to watch? What am I going to wear? Oftentimes, when a stalemate presents itself, we turn to the ancient art of flipping the coin. Heads I do this, tails I do that.

If you can’t choose, leave it up to chance. The problem with the coin flip is that most people believe the coin’s decision is absolute. “Well, it’s heads. It looks like I am eating Chipotle for dinner.” But have you ever flipped a coin and realized, “I’m not feeling Chipotle for dinner, Chinese actually sounds better.”

That is the true power of a coin toss. A coin toss will reveal your preference. If you are happy with the result of the toss, you know it’s the right decision. If you are disappointed with the result of the toss, you know that is the wrong decision. The coin toss isn’t absolute. It’s a tool to show you what it is you want.

So if you’re ever facing a hard decision, whether it’s for something as simple as where to eat or something more complicated like which house do I buy. Leave it to a coin toss. It will reveal the true nature of your heart.

Make it a great day or not; the choice is yours.
